So sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers to the family. Elsie was such a good friend and neighbor, so very kind and sweet. I can remember hanging out with them and playing cards, "UNO" and Shanghai Rummy, at their kitchen table, along with other activities, fishing on the St Johns, blueberry picking, etc. She had a beautiful seashell collection that her and Fritz collected over the years from the Fla beaches. Her husband Fritz was a great man, hard worker and mentor to me. My first job at the age of 16 was working with Fritz at the Hollywood cemetery in Orange City.
To the family of Elsie M. Hufford,
I am sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18) With sympathy,
Elsie was born and raised near Perrysburg, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Deloy Speck; daughters: Sophie (Ray) Jeffrey and Doris (Marvin) Goodman; sons: Glenn (Glenna) Speck, Wayne (Esther) Speck; and many nieces, nephews, and their children/grandchildren.
Some of my fondest memories are of visiting Aunt Elsie and Uncle Fritz in Florida. I'll never forget her amazing seashell collection that she was so proud of!
