Obituary of Christine Monkhouse
On December 27, 1971, Christine Monkhouse was born in the South American country of Guyana to Colin Monkhouse and Eldica Monkhouse. At the tender age of 12, she migrated to the States, where she attended, Meyer 11 junior high school and Erasmus high school. In 2016, she was awarded her Masters of Business from Keiser University. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and family even to those outside of her bloodline. She made her mark in this world through her kindness, her infectious spirit, and passionate work ethic she displayed whilst working alongside her teammates (her second family) at DaVita laboratories located in Deland, Florida. Christine was well known for her graciousness, strength, and charismatic personality. She was a refuge to those in need and an advisor to those who needed guidance. A superb wife and mother of 6 who prided herself on being all that her children needed to become productive, and well-rounded beings. She was an awesome sibling and even occupied the role of mother if one warranted. Some of her favorite things to do included cooking for anyone who loved to eat, travelling all around the world with her children, Hairstyling, Shopping, being a “Handy-Lady” by working on home projects, and of course opening her home to holiday and birthday parties surrounded by friends and family. Christine was love, and her life, and the way in which she lived it, proved to be the embodiment of love. Though we don’t have her physically, she remains imbedded in our hearts and that of every life she’s impacted.
