Obituary of Debra Ann Kubis
Debra Ann Kubis, 69, of Deltona, FL passed on September 18th, 2020.
Debra was born to Edward Kubis, Sr. and Concetta Pistilli-Kubis on May 19th, 1951 in Staten Island, NY. She graduated from Bayonne High School. The family moved to Hialeah, FL in the 70’s where she lived till 2003 when she and Crystal made their move to Central Florida.
She leaves as her legacy, her daughter Crystal Mullins (Josh), her brother Edward Kubis, Jr., sister in law Lisa Kubis, niece Amy (John), niece and Goddaughter Jennifer, nephew Brian (Jessica), great nieces Makayla, Lola, Peyton, Lucy and Wyatt, her cousins John, Andy, Gabie, David, and Valerie. As well as many 2nd and 3rd cousins. She will always be remembered for her love of animals, cooking, crocheting, and playing poker.
She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Aunt Annette and Uncle Gabe, Aunt Gloria and Uncle John, Uncle Phil and Aunt Peggy, and her Grandparents Andrew and Lucy.
Debbie’s occupational passion was when she was the dog trainer for G and R Kennels in Hialeah, Florida. She raised racing Greyhounds and took care of the retired ones. This passion led to her love for all animals.
A service is scheduled for October 3rd, 2020 at 3pm at The Journey Orange City (975 E Graves Ave, Orange City, FL 32763). Pastor Tom will officiate the ceremony. The Celebration of Life will follow at 4:30pm at Nice -N- Easy Oyster Bar & Grille (2109 N. Volusia Ave., Orange City, FL 32763). Please wear Debbie’s favorite color blue. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Single Vision Inc Animal Sanctuary (Singlevisioninc.org).
