Obituary of Barbara Fricker Lee
Barbara Lee was born in England 1924. Met and married Rolland, an American G.I. stationed there during WW2, they moved to France where her daughter Sharon was born. Later they moved back to the United States in 1951 and lived in Minneapolis. Barbara became an American citizen and worked for a local brewery as executive secretary for 25 years. Barbara became a member and representative in the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce and later was elected as president of the women’s division for a one year term. Later she worked as recording secretary for a hospital association 10 years, and eventually moved on her own to Naples, Florida, where she worked for Collier county in the transportation department for 11 years. Barbara was a very active and busy woman in later years as well working for and utilizing the exercise franchise Curves as well as dressing up as Lady Liberty to represent a local tax company during the tax season. She is survived by her grand daughter Laura, three great grandchildren, and two great great grand children. Both her daughter Sharon and other grand daughter Tamra have since passed before her.
