Dear Gregg, Angela, & Family.
How sorry we are to hear about Nicolas!
We are praying for you all.
Donna & everyone at Grace House
Today we are honoring the life of our dearest friend and colleague, Nick Hendershot.
Nick Hendershot came to Team ContraVest on August 8th, 2016 and immediately became an impact player with his attitude, tenacity and team spirit. Nick came to work every day ready to work with one thing in mind, which was to execute. Nick was amazing with people and had this unique ability to unite the construction and management teams while providing our residents a home that we were extremely proud to offer. Characteristics such as leadership, work ethic, integrity and the desire to always learn are traits that few can master, especially at such a young age. Nick had become an assistant superintendent that set the standard. He was an exemplary employee that all projects hoped for, to include sites that were struggling to meet quality standards and demanding schedules. Nick Hendershot was an amazing construction professional that was quickly heading for the top! During his tenure with ContraVest, Nick touched multiple properties: The Addison at Millenia, The Addison at Windermere, The District at Windy Hill, The Addison at Clermont and Randal Park.
Since Nick left us, subcontractors and vendors have poured into The Addison at Clermont to share their stories with Tony Lundy, his Superintendent, and how much they miss Nick and his daily fist-pumps and jokes… or as Nick and his dad refer to them, fist bumps. Nick was such a sweet, genuine young man and his presence is SO missed.
We are blessed to have known Nick and are so beyond grateful for his unparalleled contributions. To his family, friends, teachers, and all who had a role in shaping the man Nick became…. Thank you… you should be so proud. We are asking to please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers today.
We love and miss you, Nick. Thank you for everything.
