Obituary of Harley Kenneth Davis
In Loving Memory of
Harley Kenneth Davis
November 11, 1942 - June 8, 2019
Harley Kenneth Davis, 76, of Orange City, Florida was surrounded by his family when he peacefully passed away after a long and difficult battle with COPD.
Harley was born and raised in Deland, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Shirley, son Harley Jr., daughter Eunice, brother Leroy, sister-n-law Marie, Grandchildren, Megan and Vincent, great grandchild Phoenix, nephew James and niece Annette. Harley loved and dedicated his life to provide for his family. He was a hardworking, strong, protective and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Harley was a Vietnam Vet. After he was honorably discharged from the army he began his career as an engineer with the Department of Transportation where he retired in 1994.
Harley was a Christian and has read the bible cover to cover many times. He enjoyed long conversations about the bible and wanted everyone to know and love the Lord. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, shooting pool, shooting guns, riding motorcycles, playing the guitar and helping out his family.
He will be truly missed but never forgotten. We look forward to the day that we are reunited.
