Obituary of Margaret B. Warner
Margaret Blanche Robinson Warner, 97, died gently, Thursday, 5/02/2019 at 6:07pm. She died in the loving presence of her family, peacefully at The Florida Lutheran Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home in DeLand, Florida.
Mrs. Warner was born 6/16/1921 in Tallassee, AL to Bertha Mae Fuller and John Willis Morgan Robinson.
She married “Buddy” Warner at 18, working as a beautician & seamstress in Alabama and Georgia before moving to Florida to join her daughter, Terita Warner Hagstrom & Family. Margaret loved cooking, dancing, gardening, all types of sewing and keeping up with her many family members.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Elvin “Buddy” Warner, Jr. of Columbus, GA and her daughter, Terita Warner Hagstrom of DeLand, FL. also her brother, John Fuller Robinson and sister, Mary Nell Robinson.
Margaret’s surviving family include her son, Lewis Elvin Warner, III (Jean), son in law Raiford G. Hagstrom, Jr., Grandchildren: Linnea Margaret Hagstrom Ford (Tyler), Rhett Anson Hagstrom (Hoyt), Wendy D. Warner Lovett (John, Whitney, Alex, Mikala), Michael Warner (Bobbie), Mark Warner (Lynn, Justin, Kaitlynn).
Family services will be held in Georgia and Florida. Donations are welcome in Margaret’s name to The Florida Lutheran Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home of DeLand & to The Halifax Health Hospice. Arrangements are in the care of Lankford Funeral Home.
