Obituary of Paul Brennan
Paul J. Brennan of DeLand, Florida passed away on March 28, 2019 with family by his side.
Paul's faith to his church was strong at St. Peter Catholic Church. He served as an usher and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. He voluntered his time at the food pantry and during Octoberfest at the the church. He was extremely proud of his Irish hertiage. Paul loved playing golf with friends. He worked in the New York State system for hospitals as a hospital assistant. His last job was working with Lankford Funeral Home assisting families during visitations and funeral services for many years before retiring. He always had a laugh and a smile that were infectious and he will truly be missed.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Brennan and a granddaughter Cassidy Sortino.
Survivors include his wife Betty Brennan, children, Kathy & Mark Sortino, Paul & Gerry Brennan, Rev. Thomas E. Brennan S.D.B., Eileen & James Sawyer, Patricia & Robert Nicholas, Christine & Donald Schulz, Brian & Anne Brennan, Theresa & Gary Picone and Rose Palmer. He is also survived by several grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Lankford Funeral Home with Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 10:00AM at St. Peter Catholic Church in DeLand. Entombment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
