Nicolas Reed Hendershot, 25, died August 10th, 2019 in Deland, Florida. His funeral service will be held Friday August 16th, 2019 at Lankford Funeral Home in Deland Florida with visitation starting at 4:00 pm and following memorial service at 6:00 pm.
Nicolas Reed Hendershot was born on March 15th, 1994 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Gregg and Angela Hendershot. He spent most of his childhood growing up in Pendleton, Indiana and graduated from Pendleton Heights High School. He loved playing baseball and spending time with his family and friends. He worked as an Assistant Superintendent for ContraVest Construction. He loved his job and took pride in his rapid success in the field. He left an everlasting impact on everyone he worked with, due to his overwhelming kindness and helpful disposition. In his spare time, Nick loved watching sports, especially his two favorite teams: the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Bears. His family paid tribute to him stating; “Nick was charismatic and magnetic…he was the glue of the family…he was the hardest worker on the job and the kindest person in the room. Everyone was a friend to Nick. He loved people and he embraced life. No matter what the situation was, he could always put a smile on your face.”
He is survived by his loving parents; Gregg and Angela along with his siblings Nathan (Maddison), Grant, Noah and Paige. He was preceded in death by his brother Payton Cole.
