Cheryl L. Lankford, Licensed Funeral Director, Owner
Cheryl was born in DeLand, FL and is a native. She graduated from DeLand High School in 1973. She earned a degree in Mortuary Science from Miami Dade College in 1978. She has over 40 years in funeral home management and ownership experience ranging from Kraeer Funeral Homes in South Florida to her present funeral home.
Cheryl has been serving the community of DeLand for over 40 years. She is a past president of the DeLand Breakfast Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow. Cheryl is also past president of Independent Funeral Directors of Florida and is active in Tallahassee championing consumer awareness with regard to the rules and regulations that govern the funeral industry. At present, she serves as a member of the board of directors for John Knox Village.
Danielle Flowers, Vice President of Lankford Funeral Home & Crematory
Danielle joins our staff bringing 25 years of expertise as a licensed cosmetologist. Born and raised in DeLand, she will meet with our client family members to discuss the appearances of their loved ones prior to the visitation. She worked in the banking industry and will assist Lankford Funeral Home with daily management, financial and marketing decisions. She has two boys and one adorable grandchild.
Dave Aldrich, Funeral Home Associate
Dave is originally from Michigan and is a graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science. He is a Michigan Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. He currently resides in DeLand, Florida. Dave has two children and four grandchildren. He enjoys traveling and seeing the USA.
Debbie Entrekin, Office Manager
Debbie has lived in Volusia County for most of her life. She is a graduate of Mainland High School, in Daytona Beach, Florida. She has 3 children and 8 grandchildren and came to Lankford Funeral Home from the Banking Industry. Her caring spirit and her ability to help families with, often the most difficult times their life is essential. We are truly honored to have Debbie on our staff at Lankford Funeral Home.
Terry Lowe, Licensed Family Service Counselor
Terry has been involved in funeral service for over 14 years. She is a licensed Pre-Arrangment Service Agent and is able to help families in their time of need or before. Her compassion and care for a families is easily seen as she meets with each family at Lankford Funeral Home. She can assist families in making pre-arrangments and creating tailor made services that reflect the life of a loved one well lived. She assists in aftercare with our families to get them started on the necessary paperwork to arrange their social security benefits, veterans benefits and finances.
Richard Bailey, Funeral Home Associate
Richard has been with Lankford Funeral Home for over ten years. He is originally from Ohio. He is a retired Plant Manager. He is a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in DeLand, Fl. and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Richard always goes above and beyond and is a friendly face to see here at Lankford Funeral Home.
Joanna Moyer- Administrator/Bookkeeper
Formerly from Monroe Connecticut, she attended Sacred Heart University and St. Vincent's School of Nursing. After moving to Florida she changed career paths and worked as a Manager of a Bank for over 20 years, receiving various degrees in Banking. She retired in 2010 and now works part time at Lankford Funeral Home as the Bookkeeper and Office Administrator. She has been married 37 and enjoys fishing, crafts, and gardening. Her mission statement is "To Treat and See People as you would want Them to Treat and See Me."
