William James (Jim) Wilson III

William James (Jim) Wilson III, 73, of Fairfax Station, VA passed away on March 23, 2021, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Jim was born in Orlando, FL to William James Wilson Jr. and Genevieve Kepler Wilson on March 25, 1947. He went to school in Orlando, FL, and then in Clear Lake, TX where he graduated from High School. He graduated from the University of Houston where he received a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Physics. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Air Force where he was promoted to the rank of Captain. He married Rose Marie Baumgartner on October 4th, 1980 in Menlo Park, CA. He worked in the Computer Industry for over 50 years as a technical consultant and then as a marketing consultant.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents William James Wilson Jr, his mother Genevieve Kepler Wilson, and his brother Richard Vernon Wilson.
Jim is survived by his wife Rose Marie Wilson, his daughter Elyse Wilson Lesley and her husband Robert Lesley and their children, Parker, Rob, McCall, and Spencer; his daughter Amy Wilson Molnar and her husband Mike Molnar and their children Kaitlyn and Sydney and his niece Megan Hoover and her son Donald.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 30, 2021, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, VA. Burial will be interred in De Land, FL on April 7, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Oakdale Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Parkinson’s Foundation in lieu of flowers.
