W. Pete Flowers, 52, of DeLand, FL died suddenly on July 23, 2012.

Pete is a 1977 graduate of Taylor High School in Pierson, FL where he started his love for football. He was a foreman with Progress Energy where he worked for many years and he was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Football fan. His family was most important to him, and all who knew Pete loved him for his sense of humor and his practical jokes.

He leaves behind his wife, Rene; mother, Helen Flowers; children, Jason (Cari), Stephanie(Rob), Austin(Amanda) and Cole Flowers(Kenya), Ezra Braden, Hannah Flowers(Jared), and Mackenzie Buck(Kaley); brother John Flowers; grandchildren, Kylie, Parker, Emmy, Gracelyn, Reagan; nephew Lawson.
