Vittoria Maria Pirillo, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2024, at the age of 96. Born on August 25, 1928, in Italy, Vittoria lived a life full of faith, love, and dedication to her family.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Frank Pirillo, and her brothers, Cataldo and Francesco Mazzone. She is survived by her sister, Francesca Frustilla; her son Cataldo "Guy" (Tiffy) Pirillo, daughter Maria (Richard) Bradley, son Vincent (Pam) Pirillo, grandchildren Gina Watters, Frankie Pirillo, Marie Pirillo-Collins, Marcy Torgler, Melissa Sulzener, Zac Pirillo, and Chastin Buljubasic, and her great-grandchildren, and great-great-granddaughters, whom she was incredibly proud of. Vittoria’s family was the cornerstone of her life, and she took great pride in her 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-granddaughters.
A deeply spiritual woman, Vittoria’s love for the Lord guided every aspect of her life. Her faith was her foundation, and she shared it with all who knew her. She was known for her generosity, especially in the kitchen, where she delighted in cooking Italian meals and baked goods for her loved ones, always remembering each person’s favorite dish.
In 1957, Vittoria fulfilled her lifelong dream of coming to America, joining her husband, Frank, who had already settled here. Traveling back to Italy to visit her family was one of her most treasured memories. She often spoke of the joy she found in seeing her family reunited, and she would want to say to all who gather in her memory, “Seeing all of my family together is the best show of love that I could ask for. Enjoy your life and love the Lord.”
A private service will be held in her honor, as Vittoria wished. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
