Victor George Johnson

Victor George Johnson, age 40, passed away peacefully at home on December 1, 2024, in DeLand, Florida. Born on October 23, 1984, at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, Victor grew up with a heart full of generosity and a deep respect for others, values instilled by his loving family.

Victor was a natural athlete whose passion for sports began early. At just eight years old, he earned a spot on the traveling soccer team without any prior experience. His adventurous spirit led him to BMX racing, where he quickly excelled, tying for first place in the state and qualifying for Nationals in Ohio. Yet, his greatest love was for motorcycles. Known affectionately as "the wheelie king," Victor’s mastery of both road and dirt bikes was legendary.

His summers were filled with adventure at Red Arrow Camp in Wisconsin, where he discovered a clever perk: traveling to other camps meant a stop at Dairy Queen on the way back. Naturally, he joined every trip he could!

Victor’s life was defined by his love for family and friends. He is survived by his devoted partner, Tiffany Heggestad; his beloved son, Cooper Lee Johnson; and stepchildren, Jacob and Ashlynn Robinson. He also leaves behind his parents, Roy and Jennifer Johnson; his cherished grandmother, Patricia Shannon; his brother, Richard Johnson; and his nephew, Ezra Johnson. Victor was deeply loved by his godparents and Uncle and Aunt, Robert and Julie DeMeo; his Uncle and Aunt, Morgan and Debra Bays; and his Uncle Scott Rigby.

Victor’s love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family will be remembered by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held at Oakdale Cemetery, located at the corner of Plymouth and Adele in DeLand, on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.

Victor was a loving father, partner, son, brother, nephew, and friend. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
