Sherry Lynn Brodock, 66, of Orange City, FL, passed away peacefully at her home on December 24, 2024. Born on November 10, 1958, in Huntington, WV, Sherry grew up in Orlando as the only child of her devoted mother, Billie. She attended Colonial High School, where her journey of hard work and dedication began.
Sherry was a devoted believer in Jesus Christ, baptized into the kingdom of Heaven, and found joy and peace in her faith. She was a loving mother to her two children and a doting "Nana" to her four cherished grandchildren, always putting her family first and treasuring every moment with them.
Her career was marked by exceptional achievements and contributions. Sherry’s journey with U-Haul began humbly, cleaning RVs, but her unwavering commitment and exemplary character propelled her to senior management. Over two decades, she received countless accolades and recognition for her kindness, leadership, and integrity.
Sherry also demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, building and selling a successful lawn care business where she provided exceptional customer service to her valued clients. Later, she achieved her real estate license and quickly rose to become a Property and Office Manager with Century 21. Within her first year, she earned Ruby status in the 2005 master’s program, reflecting her dedication to excellence in customer care and leadership.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sherry’s hobbies included helping and giving to others, and spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren, and dogs. Her kindness, generosity, and compassion left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Sherry is survived by her children, Chris Lippens and Brandy Lippens, and her grandchildren, Damon Cole, Bella Cole, Jocelynn Lippens, and Colin Lippens.
A memorial service celebrating Sherry’s life will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 1:30 PM at First Baptist Church Daytona Beach, located at 10 First Baptist Pkwy, Daytona Beach, FL 32124.
Sherry’s legacy of love, faith, and selflessness will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
