Robert Earl Cardini, 93 of Deltona, Florida passed away peacefully on September 27th, 2021.

A visitation and services will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Lankford Funeral Home.

The visitation will be from 11-1200 p.m. with services beginning at 12:00 p.m. followed by internment at Hollywood Cemetery in Orange City, Florida.

Robert was born May 14th, 1928, in Brockton, MA to George and Sally (Bass) Cardini. He was the youngest of three sons. Robert joined the Navy in 1946 and after an Honorable Discharge he met the love of his life Elizabeth Van Deusen at Hartford Hospital in CT. where she was a nurse. They were married for 60 years and raised 5 children. Robert had a successful career as a meat cutter in retail including Laurel Beef Company and A&P Supermarket in CT.

Robert had a love for antiques and owned two antique shops in CT before moving to Florida.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Elizabeth, sons, Guy, Craig, Robert, and his brother Joe.

He is survived by a son, Paul Cardini, Deltona, daughter, Pamela Jones, DeLand, brother, Tom of East Hartford, CT. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Vincent Earl Cardini, Atlanta, GA, Lawson P. Jones, Nevada, Abigail E. Jones, DeLand and Joseph Cardini, Daytona, Bailey Cardini, New Smyrna Beach, FL. Great grandchildren, Peyton Cardini, New Smyrna Beach and Ava Cardini, Daytona. Robert will be sorely missed by all.
