Robert "Bobby" Spencer McKee, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, in DeLand, FL. He was born on November 30, 1944, in Hamlet, NC, to Spencer Rivers McKee and Maude Nye McKee.

Bobby was a man of great accomplishment and dedication. He earned his bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University and went on to achieve a master’s in business administration from Nova Southeastern University. Bobby dedicated over 20 years of his career to American Express, where his hard work and leadership were widely respected.

Beyond his professional achievements, Bobby's passions and hobbies painted a vibrant picture of his life. He was a devoted member of the Baptist faith and found joy in woodworking, a craft at which he excelled. A proud American, Bobby enjoyed playing golf and generously volunteered his time at the Honda Classic for many years. He was an active member and officer of the Gator Ski Club, where he cherished countless snow skiing adventures. He also volunteered at the chamber of commerce in Lumberton, NC.

He is survived by his brothers Jimmy Neal McKee (Anne McKee) and Tony Patrick McKee (Amanda McKee), and his sister Sharon Ann McKee Hudler (Ted Hudler).

Bobby McKee's memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be dearly missed.
