Richard Conk

Richard died peacefully on December 15, 2024, at his home in Deland, with his wife Joyce, of 58 years, by his side. 

Richard was born in New York City on January 29, 1942, to Harriet and Richard C. Conk. 

Richard proudly served his country and was a veteran of the United States Navy. 

Richard loved his family with a passion and was happiest when spending time together. His life's work was in sales as a clothier. His love of people and mischievous personality made him the perfect salesman. When asked what he did for a living, Richard would jokingly reply, "I am a man of the cloth."

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, his children Collette (Richard) Colegrove, Daniel (Jill) Conk, and three grandchildren, Andy, Craig, and Garret. He is preceded by his sister, Susan Menyhart. 

Richard will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 

A memorial mass will be held on December 30, 2024, at St. Peter Catholic Church at 10:30 AM, with a reception to follow in the St. Teresa Hall.
