Richard Allen Scholl, age 75 of Deland Florida, passed away February 12, 2021, at his residence. Richard was born in Utica New York on September 7, 1945, to the late Carl Scholl and Helen Landringham Scholl. He grew up in New York Mills and proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam war. Richard was a businessman and was also in the Florida Army National Guard in the Personnel Department. He was an honorable man who will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and his brother Vietnam veterans.

He was predeceased by his brothers William and John and sisters Marylyn Whittles Oelsignore, Kathy Many, and Nancy Ernst. He is survived by his brother Harland.

Richard and his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth Hamel Scholl, had three sons Steven (Deland FL), Michael (Seattle Wash), and Adam (Orlando FL). Richard had 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Richard, a Purple Heart recipient, will be laid to rest with military honors at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
