Ret. Detective Harry A. Wright passed away at his home on Friday February 4th 2022. At the age of 83. He was preceded in Death by his Daughter Julie. He is survived by his wife Isabella Bette , his daughter, Teresa, his step-daughter, Christine , his step-son, Robert, 10 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Harry was a Detective with the Miami-Dade Police Department for 36 years, Vice Chairman of the the Dade County Federal Credit Union, a life member and former Sgt. at arms of the PBA, and member of the Retired Officers Council.

Visitation will be held on Thursday February 10, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the Chapel of Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand, Fl. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday February 11, 2022 at 10:30 am in the St. Peter Catholic Church in DeLand, FL.

He will be laid to rest at Oakdale cemetery in DeLand.
