Paquita Eubanks died unexpectedly on May 23th, 2021, at the age of 74 years old at her home in Debary, FL.


Paquita was born in Ormoc City, Philippines on May 25th, 1946 to Victor Aldiano and Inocenta Enriquez. She graduated from Manuel Luis Quezon in Manila with a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance with a Minor in Economics. Following graduation, she worked as the interior designer for R.S. Sagon Corporation. In Manila, she met Daniel Eubanks and they were married on July 26th, 1972, in Malate Church, a parish church in the district of Malate in the city of Manila, Philippines. Three years later, Dan and Paquita migrated to the U.S. and settled in Maryland, and finally retired in Florida.


Her first job was at First National Bank of Washington, DC. She then changed jobs and worked for First American Bank, where she remained for over 15 years. After the bank merged with First Union, she left to work for M&T bank in Columbia, MD where she retired. She was a banker by profession and one of her proudest moments during her career was that she managed the corporate account for the Baltimore Ravens.

Paquita enjoyed shopping and especially, she was keen on and appreciated “fine” things. She loved hanging out in the beach, traveling on riverboats, golfing, and hanging out with her friend of 60 years, Lily Duey, and her close friends in the Debary community, aka “Niners”.


She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Daniel Eubanks; her sister, Inday Dionson; one brother Rodrigo Aldiano. She is survived by seven nephews and nieces, Dennis Dionson, Trixia Hoang, Paul Dionson, Michael Puray, Mario Puray Jr, Alexander Puray, and Joy Omega; her close friend Lily Duey, Joe Duey, Lora Wilson, and Lisa Parsons and their children.


The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 29th, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at 220 East New York Avenue, Deland, Florida 32724. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association.
