Nicholas Bradford Morse passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, February 9th, 2025, at home in DeLand, Florida surrounded by his loving family.
Nick was born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts to Janel Rogers and Mark Morse, and was a beloved brother to Mikayla Morse. From 7 months old Nicks medical journey began. He overcame many obstacles in his 27 years of life and faced each challenge with strength and determination. He had a special place in his heart for animals. With his reserved personality, Nick found solace in the family pets.
In his youth, he was a proud member of Troop 83 with the Boy Scouts. Nick looked forward to building his Pinewood derby car with his father each year. In 2016, Nick graduated from Essex Technical High School with abundant knowledge in carpentry. This passion led to his long-term job with the Essex National Heritage Commission, helping preserve history in Salem. In 2017, he seized the opportunity to join Americorps for a year, gaining more experience in his field.
During Nicks adolescent years he found a love for fishing through family excursions. He accumulated a wide variety of fishing lures and rods. Oftentimes he could be seen by the water, either solo or with friends, looking for his next big catch. In more recent years he enjoyed learning about aeronautics and using his flight simulator.
In addition to Janel, Mark, Mikayla, and his childhood dog Bodhi, Nicholas is survived by his grandmother, Juliette Morse. He will also be leaving behind one aunt, two uncles, and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, John and Joan Rogers and Ronald Morse, as well as his uncle, Bradford Morse.
To have him keep you close was an honor that few experienced.
Nicholas was a kind and gentle soul and to know him was to love him.
