Nick was born on September 12, 1950 and died Sunday morning October 17, 2021 at age 71. He was happily married to Mollie Chillemi for 34 years. Nick was a wonderful husband and loving father of four children. He graduated from Deland High school in 1968 where he was a football and golf athlete. Nick was the first All American player for the school and inducted into the Deland Sports Hall of Fame in 2016. Nick was a car salesman for decades in the Deland area and a passionate golfer. He is survived and will be deeply missed by his devoted wife Mollie S. Chillemi, daughter, Amanda (Rafael) Silva, son, William Griffin, son, Nicholas (Sarah) Chillemi III, grandson, Riley Silva, granddaughter, Mollie Silva and grandson, Enzo Chillemi. He was preceded in death by daughter Marlene Amonda Chillemi. Services will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 11th at Mother of the Good Shepherd Monastery in Deland, FL. Followed by a celebration of life at his home on Lake Ruby.
