Mary Louise Cook of Ormond Beach, Florida died December 15, 2023 at Advent Health Hospice Care Center in Orange City, Florida.

Mary was the daughter of Allen W and Bessie D Cook. Mary was born and raised in Fernandina Beach, Florida and graduated from Fernandina Beach High School class of 1968. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in education and taught for thit years in Florida schools. Mary worked for British Airlines about 10 years after retiring from teaching.

In addition to her parents, Mary is predeceased by her sisters June Peterson, Carolyn Karr and a brother David G Cook. Mary is survived by her brother Marvin Cook (Sherron) of DeLand, Florida, sister-in-law, Barbar Cook and four nieces and one nephew.

A memorial service in Fernandina Beach, Florida is planned for a later date.

Mary was a member of First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach, Florida. In lieu of flowers donations in remembrance may be made to First united Methodist Church of Ormond Beach, Florida, 336 S. Halifax Dr., Ormond Beach, FL 32176-8111.
