Luz Bolivia Soto, 82, passed away peacefully on June 10th, 2024 in Orlando Florida. Born December 20th, 1941 in Isabela, Puerto Rico, Luz was truly a ray of sunshine. She was a devoted wife, mother, friend and believer in God. She was always the life of the party. Making food, dancing, hosting parties, and being with her family is what she loved to do the most. Everyone that knew her can't forget her making Cafe Bustelo at 3:00 am for anyone who knocked on her door.  She had an infectious smile that would light up the room. Luz was a mother of eight children and wasn't afraid to be a motherly figure to whomever walked into her life. She spent the majority of her life in Newark, New Jersey and was excited to move to Florida in 2021. She enjoyed life until God called her into Heaven by dancing, singing and watching her favorite Novelas.

Luz is survived by her children, Elizabeth Soto, Miriam Soto, Carlos Soto, Raul Soto, Madeline (Eddie Serrano) Soto, Evelyn Soto, Marisol (Michael Scott) Soto, her sister Luz (Farel) Badillo and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Soto, son Samuel Soto, mother and father Mariano and Luz Ramos, sister Luz Hilda Vega, granddaughter Jadelyn Jimenez, and son-in-law Albert "AJ" Jimenez.

Visitation will be Monday, June 17th from 7pm-9pm at Lankford Funeral Home. Her burial is scheduled for Tuesday, June 18th at 11:00 am at Deltona Memorial Gardens located at 1295 Saxon Blvd Orange City FL 32763.
