Lewis A. Wise Jr. died February 22nd, 2022, at Halifax Health Hospice. His funeral service will be held at St. Jude’s Episcopal Church on Wednesday March 9th at 11:00 AM.

Lewis was born on March 28th, 1936, in Miami, Florida to Charlotte and Lewis Wise. He attended The Cushman School, Miami Edison High School, and the University of Florida.

Lewis also served as a Corpsman in the United States Coast Guard. He was employed by Florida Power and Light Co. as an engineer for 25 years in Miami.

Lewis and his wife Florence retired to the DeLand where they resided before moving to John Knox Village.

Lewis enjoyed all water sports but sailing and fishing were his passions. He was a good, kind, and generous man who will be sorely missed.
