Kay Francis (Millson) Krotzer, 74, died peacefully and surrounded by her family on January 26, 2021 at Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, Florida. She was a strong beautiful women and no matter what life threw at her, she was able to find the good and carry on.
Kay was born on 15th April, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Catherine (Ruhe) and William Millson. She was raised in Miami, Florida and graduated from Miami Jackson High School. She attended Nova South Eastern University. Kay had a successful career with AT&T, starting as an operator at 18 years old, advancing to special projects manager by the time she retired from AT&T.
She married Neill Krotzer April 11, 1981. They moved to Deland, FL in 1985, where she lived at the time of her death. Together they raised their children, cruised around the world, and enjoyed life on the St. Johns River. They were active members of the Lake Beresford Yacht club for many years. They enjoyed their many friends and boating adventures.
Kay was preceded to death by her husband Neill. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Dawn (Ben)Larson, Sherry(Chris) Sweeney, Nancy(Morris) Becker, Sheryl Krotzer, and Susan Mitchell, her nine grandchildren (Connor and Karsen Lewis) (CJ, Kayleen, Sarahann and Matthew Sweeney) (Brooke, Kelsey and Blake Becker), her brother William (Linda)Millson, and niece Conni (Jeff)Weaver, a great niece great-nephews and many dear friends. Kay touched many lives and she will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church in Deland, FL.
