Kathleen Joanne (King) Bolz, 72, of Deland, passed away peacefully at home on February 2. A native of Huntington, NY, Kathy was born in Brooklyn to Sophie and William King. She was predeceased by W. Michael Bolz, her husband of 44 years. She leaves behind her son Eric Michael Bolz, and his fiancée Lindsey Ahl, of Northport, NY, daughter Laura Fandrey, son-in-law Matthew and beloved granddaughter Madelyn of Ware, MA, brother-in-law Robert Bolz, Jr and his wife Kathleen, niece Cassandra Bolz, her husband Michael Diegnan, and their children Adrianna and Fiona, and sister-in-law Gaylan Bolz. Kathy also leaves behind her cousin Linda Johnston and her husband Peter, cousin Joanne Barbinchak and her husband Michael, their daughter Melissa and her family. Kathy also leaves behind many friends in both New York and Florida, all who will miss her dearly.

Kathleen's family will receive friends at 10 am on Wednesday, February 8, with a service at Lankford Funeral Home Chapel in Deland. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, or the Little Shelter in Huntington, NY, two charities she held dear.
