We are sad to announce the death of Karen E. Norton, LN1, on June 18, 2022 at the age of 75. Ms. Norton was born August 21, 1946 in Staten Island, New York, and resided in Deland, Florida since her retirement. She was the daughter of Elizabeth (née Lee) and Joseph (Earl) Lambertson, and the widow of Robert Norton. She will be missed greatly by sister Kathaline Salzano, brother-in-law Michael Salzano, brother Joseph Lambertson, and nephews Michael K. Salzano and John Sparacio, as well as by her caregiver and friend Monica Plew, and family and many friends.

Ms. Norton served with a career in the United States Navy, following in the footsteps of her grandfather, father, brother and several other family members. She was the recipient of several awards and honors, including Good Conduct, Navy Commendation, Navy Achievement, and Meritorious Unit Commendation. Interment will follow at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Florida.
