Linda Lou Christian, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 1, 2024, at her home in DeLand, Florida. Born on August 28, 1949, in Sedalia, Missouri, Linda was the daughter of Harold Frailey, a dedicated Missouri Pacific Railroad employee, and Helen Frailey, a devoted homemaker to their five children. She graduated from Smith Cotton High School in Sedalia, where she began a lifelong journey rooted in family and faith.
Linda’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She poured her heart into raising her three children alongside her beloved husband, William David Christian, with boundless love and devotion. Linda leaves behind her husband William; her son Harold David Christian; daughters Tina Marie Jones Christian and Michelle Lynn Christian; sister Janie Sue Frailey Boyer; grandchildren Anthony Ray Bush and Jacob Wayne Christian; and great-grandchildren Anthony Robert Piatt Brooks and Cassius Wayne Christian. Linda is reunited with her late parents, Harold and Helen Frailey, as well as her siblings Ray Bob Frailey, Harold Dean Frailey, and Darlene Mae Frailey.
Linda was known for her incredible creativity and generosity, especially through her passion for flower arrangements and crafts, which she lovingly shared with both family and friends. Her nurturing spirit and selflessness were evident in everything she did, as she always placed others' needs above her own.
Those who knew Linda remember her as the most loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A visitation will be held at Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand, FL, on Friday, November 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at Oakdale Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
