Josh was a true outdoorsman, with his love for bow hunting, for deer, hogs, fishing.
He was a family guy spending time with his daughters, Millie and Emma and he was very much involved in the lives of his nieces and nephews. Their term of endearment for him was to call him Uncle Bubba Daddy. To his sister Libby he was her protector, rock, and prankster.
He received his diploma from Gold Medal Honor’s Academy in DeLand and worked with the repo business for cars and later as an equipment operator in construction.
When Josh entered a room, he had the ability to make life better by leaving people laughing. His mom said he always made people feel special with through his kind personality.
Millie was his #1 hunting buddy. Noah, his nephew, followed. Both would be dressed the night before and sleep by the door as to not miss the next days big adventure. Phone calls would come to G-Daddy and Gigi telling of their excitement and big stretch stories.

Joshua was a servant of the Lord at the early age of only 18 months. His precious Gamma Pat Barnard took him to see his granny (her mother) at Ridgecrest Nursing Home in his little red wagon. He visited everyone up and down the hallways. His love was to feed Granny and her roommate, who was blind, Vienna sausages. He learned to lay hands on people and pray. He went on mission trips with his favorite youth Pastor Gary Carter who recently passed away. Joshua had the gift of seeing a person hurting.
