John Robert Palmer, Of Orange City, Age 56, passed away unexpectedly on August 12, 2021, at Halifax Health UF in Deltona, Florida.

He was born on May 20, 1965 in Deland, Florida. Born to Robert James Palmer and Elizabeth Sue O'Quinn Palmer. Shortly after the passing of Robert James Palmer, John became the son of William David and Elizabeth Sue Jackson in a package deal marriage.

John married Melissa Michelle Boyd on February 6, 1993, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Deland, Florida. He is survived by his parents William David and Elizabeth Sue Jackson, his loving wife Melissa M. Palmer of 29 years, son-Patrick and wife Kristen. daughters- Randi and husband Steven, Kayla, Melissa, and Taylor. Grandchildren- Makenzie, Haylee, Madalyn, Payton and Ryan. Step-sister- Amelia and husband Bob.

John was a machinist, his former employers included Sherwood Medical and Technetics Corporation. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, racing and dropping by to talk to his buddy's after work.

His service will be held Friday, August 20, 2021, at Lankford Funeral Home. Viewing will begin at 10am and Service will begin at 11am. Immediately following there will be a celebration of life in his honor held at the home of Tom and Linda O'Quinn 755 Mercers Fernery Rd. Deland, 32720.
