Joan Forman Mayes (nee Gliha), age 85. Passed away on August 16, 2022.

Joan was a long-time resident of Florida but was born and raised her family in the Cleveland, Ohio area. She was an active member of her church and community, serving several terms on Council for Highland Heights, Ohio. A bookkeeper while lovingly raising her family as a young widow, and later an enthusiastic dealer of glassware and bric-a-brac traveling north from show to show with Roy to avoid the summer heat of Florida.

Beloved wife of the late Wince Roy Mayes; and Kenneth F. Forman (deceased) the parents of Marie Kunzman (Joe), Ken Forman (Elisabeth), Bob Forman (deceased), and Karen Kroning (Edward). Loving Grandmother to David Kunzman, Daniel Kunzman, Lindsey Addis, Lauren Ulleseit, Angelina Forman, Justine Forman, Veronica Forman, Emily Forman, and Pauline Forman. Precious Great Grandmother to Tessa, Rhys, Kara, and Emerhette. Dear sister to Mary (Mitzi) Kerka (deceased), Audrey Marn, and John Gliha (deceased). Daughter of John and Mary Gliha (both deceased).

A short receiving of friends will be held at Lankford Funeral Home, 220 East New York Ave, DeLand, FL on September 10, 2022 at 12-1PM.
