Our beloved daughter Jennavieve Saria Jo Alvarez or ‘Evie’ as everyone knew her, lost her battle with a rare brain cancer called DIPG in just three short months. She passed away peacefully in our arms with her family around her. She is now home and is forever free of sadness and pain.

Evie was a Girl Scout and a gymnast. Her other passions were drawing, crafting and quoting movies. She was a helper, a giver, a jokester, a thrill seeker, a game board expert, and our precious baby girl. Her smile was infectious, her laugh was joyful, and her spirit was second to none.

Evie is survived by her mother Tiffany, her father Jorge, her grandma Eve ‘Mimi’, her gandpa Joe ‘Pawkaw’, her grandma Juana, her grandpa Raul, her great grandmother Marcia, her aunt Tammy “Titi”, her uncle Chris, her auntie Kristen, her uncle Carlos, her two cousins who were like sisters to her Tiffany and Stephanie, and many more loving aunts, uncles, and relatives.

She will forever be in our hearts and in the hearts of the many people she touched around the world. She was taken from this earth too soon… forever nine years old.
