Elizabeth “Betty” Agriesto

Elizabeth Agriesto died peacefully in her home on Saturday, March 27, 2021, after a long illness.
Born October 10th in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she is the beloved daughter of the late Elizabeth Agriesto.
Betty was employed for many years at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial as a patient liaison in the Emergency Department. She had a gift of comforting others during difficult times.
She was also a member of the Lake Helen Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Where she was loved by many.
Betty enjoyed spending time at the beach, watching her favorite TV shows, especially old movies and she loved her cat, Murphy, who could usually be found taking a nap on her lap.
Betty’s sense of humor and kindness will be missed by many.
She is survived by her 2 sisters, Jo-Ann Agriesto and Carole Blaisdell, Dr. Gary Hecht, fiancé of Jo-Ann, who was like a brother to Betty, several cousins, a niece, and a grandniece. In addition, she is survived by JoAnn Lodice of Connecticut, a friend of many years who assisted in her care during her final weeks.
Arrangements are under the careful direction of Lankford Funeral Home, DeLand, Florida.
