Earl D. Green, Sr. (Boog), of Deltona, Fla., died peacefully at his home on May 1, 2022. Born November 26, 1932, in Frostburg, Md., to the late Douglas and Mary Green, Earl was preceded in death by loving wives Wilda (m. 1956-68) and Johnnie Mae (m. 1969-2016) and seven brother and sisters. He is survived by his son Earl, Jr. (Lori) of Deltona, Fla.; grandsons John Williams (Claudia) of Cape Coral, Fla.; Robert (Kaitlyn), Michael, Nicholas, and Connor (Alexis) Breitmaier, all of Rochester, N.Y.; granddaughters Carla Halliburton of Suwanee, Ga., Katherine Konzel of Rochester, N.Y., and Mary-Elizabeth Xaevier (Aaron) of Tempe, Ariz.; and nine great grandchildren. Earl also is survived by special sons Steve Berardi, Gary Genthner, and Charlie O’Hara, all of Rochester, N.Y.; David Lamb of Dayton, Ohio; and David Berardi of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and special nieces Michele Frisby of New Carrollton, Md.; Mary Rhodes of Cumberland, Md.; and Twaquilla Jan Nickson of Locust Grove, Ga.; special friends Tina Kampouris of Deland, Fla., Jackie Lue of Deltona, Fla., and Henry (Benny) of Rochester, NY, Walker (Phyllis); and a host of loving family and friends. Earl was a 40-year resident of Rochester, N.Y., and when he retired from the Burke Forge Company in 1994, he moved to Deltona and made Florida his permanent home. A member of the VFW and an avid fisherman, bowler, and softball player, Earl will be missed by all he touched.
Services for Mr. Earl D. Green, Sr. will be held on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022 at Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand, Florida. The Visitation will start at 2:00 PM with the Memorial Service starting at 3:00 PM.
