Darea Polzin Bradeen, 60, died the 11th of July 2022 at the Advent Health Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City after a short illness. Her memorial service will be held this Saturday, July 23rd, at Lankford Funeral Home, 220 E New York Ave, Deland from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Darea was born in Germany on December 28, 1961, to Donald and Darla Polzin. She had a long career with the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle where she started as a Driver’s license examiner in the mid 80’s and then later became a Hearing Officer. She was a member of the Deland area Jaycee’s for many years. She married Wayne Bradeen in 2004. Darea has been a lifelong resident of the Deland area where her and Wayne enjoyed spending time with her stepchildren, Dan 38, Ryan 37, Amanda 34, and Kristen 30 and their grandchildren. Family was very important to Darea, and she was always there to share in all those important happy moments. She was very loved and will be extremely missed by all the lives she has touched.

She is survived by her brother, Donald Polzin, Jr.
