Cindy Collett, 61, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 15th, 2022 at her

home in Orange City, Florida.

Cindy was born on January 12th, 1961 in Covington, Kentucky to Rhonda Gail Wilson and Willard

Boatright. She married Michael Gene Collett on January 30th, 1976. Together they raised one

daughter, Tricia Dawn Frierson. The family moved to Florida in 1986. Cindy had a successful career

in sales at Ferrell Jewelers in downtown Deland for 18 years. In her spare time, Cindy enjoyed

gardening, drawing, crocheting, and being a doting grandmother to her three grandsons Seth, Kyle,

and Zack. Her family paid this tribute to her, ‘Cindy was one of the kindest people you could ever

meet, she opened her heart to everyone who knew her and she will be sorely missed.’

Cindy is survived by her husband, Mike, and daughter, Tricia. Mother and step-father, Gail and Jim

Wilson, brothers, Ed Boatright and Ken Kinman.

The family will be hosting a visitation at 10:00 AM and a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 22nd at Lankford Funeral Home, Deland, Florida.

Followed by interment at Oakdale Cemetery, Deland, Florida.
