Charles T. Lehman
3/15/2022
On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, Charles T. Lehman passed away in DeLand Florida. He was the husband of three, the father of six, the grandfather of four and the great-grandfather to one.
Born in Chicago, Illinois on June 15, 1943, Chuck survived a troublesome early life to become a respected Village Trustee in Bloomingdale, Illinois. He was also a Board Member of the Chicago Elks Club, the McHenry Lions Club and Woodhaven Lakes Resort in Sublette, Illinois.
He owned several printing companies in his successful 25-year career in printing, retiring in 2001. Spending the next 21 years in retirement he was able to enjoy over 40 ocean cruises and countless motorcycle vacations across America.
He finally settled in Deland, Florida with his wife of 41 years. He enjoyed the mild winters but continued to enjoy Woodhaven Lakes in the summers until he became ill with lung cancer after a lifetime of smoking.
Funeral Mass is Monday, March 21 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Deland at 10:00 a.m. with a luncheon following. Private burial later this year in his family plot in Libertyville, Illinois.
Please remember Chuck not in death but for his witty remarks and "kind of funny" jokes. Elvis said it all in his song "My Way" which was Chuck's theme song. He will be missed by many and that is all anyone can hope to achieve.
