Bradley Stephen Bailey, aged 38, passed away on September 19, 2023, in Daytona Beach, Florida.


Bradley, born on July 1, 1985, in Norman, Oklahoma, was the beloved son of Stephen Victor Bailey and Wannetta Jean Bailey. He grew up with a loving family, he has 1 surviving brother Shaun Bailey. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father and older brother. Brad had several uncles, aunts, and numerous cousins who brought joy to his life.


Brad was an active youth who had a love for baseball and dirt bike riding. His infectious smile and happy-go-lucky nature endeared him to all who knew him. Brad was a talented electric guitar player, one of his favorite songs to play was "Smoke on the Water." He also enjoyed skateboarding and had a passion for collecting baseball cards. Notably, he met Wayne Granger, who played for the Cincinnati Reds in 1971. Brad also enjoyed gambling, and being at social events. He spent time with his cousins on his mother's side, engaging in activities such as go-kart racing, fishing, boating, and picnics.


Brad's trade was in construction, a skill he learned from his father. He took immense pride in contributing to the construction of the Devon Building in Oklahoma City, as well as several condominiums in Panama City and Daytona Beach, Florida.


Brad never married and did not have any children. He shared a special bond with his older brother, Shaun, whom he looked up to and adored. The love between Brad and his mother, Jean, was immeasurable, as they cherished each other dearly.


Known by the nickname "Boom, Boom," a name affectionately given by his father during his youth, Brad was fondly referred to as "Roni" by his brother, Shaun. Bradley had a soft spot for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and often exclaimed their catchphrase, "Cowabunga!"


A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 15, at 1 pm at the Hard Rock Hotel, located at 918 N Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach, FL 32118. For those unable to attend in person, a Zoom meeting will be available with the following details:

Bradley Stephen Bailey will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
