Betty Yoder

Betty June Yoder passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 96 in Deland, Florida. Betty was born on July 23, 1928, in Pleasureville, Pennsylvania, to her loving parents Levere Hunt and Florence Leese.

Throughout her life, Betty excelled as a manager in the restaurant industry, pouring her heart into her work and leaving a lasting impact on all those she encountered. Her dedication and hard work were truly admirable, and she inspired many with her strong work ethic. She loved to square dance, work with ceramics, eat out at restaurants and listen to blue grass music. Betty had a sense of humor which was needed with that many children!

Betty will be fondly remembered by her surviving children, John, Theresa, Nancy, Elaine, David, Rebecca, Samuel, and Roman. Also surviving are several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those she held dear.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Mary Brown.

Her funeral services and ceremonies will be held to honor and celebrate her remarkable life. The family welcomes all who knew and loved Betty to join them in paying their respects and cherishing the memories they shared with her.

A Memorial Service will be held at Lankford Funeral Home on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
