Betty Deal Thomas, 82, of Orange City, Florida, passed away on August 12th, 2018 at Halifax Health Hospice, Orange City. Mrs. Deal was born in Kingston, North Carolina and moved to Orange City in 1980. She was a retired Medical Office Manager for a General Surgeon in Daytona Beach. Betty was a devoted Mother and a loving Grandmother/Great-grandmother. Survivors include one brother Ron Mauldin, two sons, Curtis Creel of North Carolina and Frank Deal of Orange City, granddaughter, Shannon Garcia of Ormond Beach, great-grandson Landon Garcia, great-granddaughter Lillian Garcia and great-grandson Luke Garcia.
