Betty Ann Swainston, 73, of Orange City, FL went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2024. Betty fought a brave battle with cancer with so much patience and grace. A long time residence of the community, Betty was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She was very strong in her faith and always put life in the hands of God. She was predeceased by the love of her life, Allen Swainston and parents Harold and Liz Brummett. She leaves behind her children Beki Swainston and Vicki (Frank) Potter, grandchildren Allen, Stanley, Rachael and Sarah and sisters Brenda (Ed) Gannon, Beth Foust and Barbara (Mark) Gibson, many nieces, nephews and friends. All of whom she cherished deeply. Visiting hours will be May 22, 2024 at 12:00 pm and service at 1:00 pm at Lankford Funeral Home, 220 E. New York Ave. DeLand, FL. A graveside gathering will be at 2:00 pm at DeLand Memorial Gardens.
