Barbara Rae Montgomery, 77, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at her home in Lake Helen, FL after a long battle with heart disease. Barbara was born in Baltimore, Maryland, but spent the majority of her life in Florida. She retired from IBM after a long career in finance. She enjoyed spoiling her dogs, camping, gardening and was well known for her lemon pound cake. She always had a seat at the dining table for anyone in need of a friend, especially during the holidays. She had a positive outlook on life and an infectious smile.

She was preceded in death by her son Scott Brown (Debbie), loving husband Max and is survived by her daughter, Kym Wise, along with grandchildren Chelsea Wise, Nicholas Brown, Kelly Brown, Kyle Montgomery and Cody Montgomery, brother Jay (Vickie) Bloch and sister, Carol (Dr. Joe) Tuggle.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022, 11:30 AM at Hopkins Hall, 150 Connecticut Avenue, Lake Helen, FL.
