Barbara J Berger age 87 of Deland, Fl passed away Sunday February 13,2022. There will be a Celebration of Life at Langford Funeral Home in Deland at 5:00 PM February 23,2022.

Barbara was born in Muskegon, MI. to Frank Mathes and Josephine Mathes Bathrick on April 24,1934. Her twin sister passed away two days after birth. She had two sisters, Anne and Sharon.

She married the sailor of her dreams Harold D Berger on September 4,1953. They were married 59 years until Harold’s passing in 2012. They traveled the US while Harold served in the US Navy. They moved to Deland, Fl. in 1972.

Barb loved being on the go, doing things with family and friends, getting her hair done( don’t touch), camping, fishing and BINGO.

Barbara is survived by her sister Sharon Horvath, her children Brenda Christensen, David (Paula) Berger, Jill

(Dan) McDonald, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
