Amber Gabrielle Lucas

Amber Gabrielle Lucas, age 38, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 in Orlando, Florida.
Born December 5, 1984 in Orlando, to Danny and Barbara (Land) Lucas, Amber lived her youth in the city of her birth with her three siblings, along with her mother, maternal grandparents, 2 aunts and 5 cousins.
Amber's greatest achievement and love was her son, Ethan. He came into this world with a personality that matched hers, a heart full of love, and in a sense, completely changed Amber's life in a way that only a child can. Amber enjoyed taking Ethan to visit family and exploring the many activities central Florida has to offer. Amber was truly proud of Ethan and made hard decisions to ensure his future success.
Amber loved sappy movies, reading, couponing and iced caramel macchiato. She was skilled in the kitchen and even received certification in culinary management. Bursting with personality, Amber was unmatched in wit and humor managing to engage even the hardest of personalities. Amber could strike up a conversation with anyone and enjoyed exchanging stories and laughs. Even in the darkest moments, Amber knew how to make someone smile.
Amber is survived by her son (Ethan Lucas), mother (Barbara Lucas), sister (Amanda Bakal) and brother-in-law (Victor Bakal), brother (William Lucas) and sister-in-law (Mercedes Lucas), sister-in-law (Erin Lucas), as well as her 2 aunts, 1 uncle, 5 cousins and 10 nieces and nephews. Each of whom already miss Amber terribly and will work to honor her memory by sharing the countless memories created with her. Amber always ensured she was present for everyone at times needed most, she valued relationships and worked to ensure those she loved knew she was there for them. Amber's heart was too big for this world and we will never know another like her in our lifetime.
Amber is predeceased by her brother, Adam Lucas (May 14, 2019) and father, Danny Lucas (July 4, 2021).
Amber was a shining light who's flame was snuffed far too soon. May her soul rest in peace and may she be remembered in love.
