Richard Frank Trevisan, 82, of De Leon Springs, FL passed away peacefully at his home on February 18, 2018, after a brief illness. Rich was a native of Chicago, IL and Stuart, FL. Rich was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Over the last few years, he & his dog “Nana” formed a very special bond. In his retirement he found enjoyment in doing for others, especially for all of his wonderful neighbors. He loved his tractors and all of the animals on his farm and called each of them by name. Rich also was an avid NASCAR fan and he was a devoted Chicago Cubs fan, as well. He was a former Crew Chief for Elmer Musgrave which explains his love for the sport of racing. Professionally in his past years he was a General Contractor for General Development and owner of R.F. Trevisan & Son Construction in Stuart, FL.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory daughter Diane Trevisan of De Land, FL, son Scott and wife Janna Trevisan of Statesville, NC, grandson, Taylor Trevisan of De Land, FL, bonus (step) granddaughters Ashley and husband Matthew Smith of Jackson, TN and Lauren Helms of Jackson, TN and bonus (step) great grandchildren, Kyler Smith and Korie Smith of Jackson, TN.
