Henry E. Kobler formerly of Springville, NY, resident of DeLand, FL passed away on January 24, 2018 at Florida Hospital Deland.
Henry worked as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic for many years and was also a volunteer fireman for 20 years in New York.
Henry was an avid ham radio operator from the age of 16 and had a passion for model trains which he shared with his great grandson.
Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory: his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth (Kropczynski) , brother Ronald (Naomi) Kobler, sister Diane (Richard, deceased) Dearborn and children, Carol Crimmons, Steven Kobler and Scott Kobler; grandchildren, Justin (Amy) Kobler, Aleshia Crimmons, Linley (William) Tate, Tyler Kobler, and five great grandchildren. Henry was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Bernice, and daughter Cheryl (Sherri) Horn.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2pm at Trinity United Methodist Church in DeLand, FL.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity United Methodist church building fund.
